Wine, Dine and Watch Wild & Scenic Films at Newsome-Harlow
Newsome Harlow has quite the soiree planned for tomorrow night as they invite folks to their Wine, Dine and Watch Wild & Scenic Films night!
Their award-winning wines will be available for tasting, Chef Andy will be showcasing some incredible Thai dishes she learned while exploring Thailand last summer, and two films — “Ice” and “Someplace With a Mountain” will be screened as part of the SYRCL Wild & Scenic Film Festival, with a discussion to follow.
The “Thai One On” meal includes appetizers and a multi-course sit down meal.
Take a look at what’s on the menu!
- Chicken Satay
- Green Papaya Salad
- Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp
- Thai Chicken Coconut Curry
- Pad Thai
- Thai Tea Ice Cream
“Ice” — a short film best described as an “environmental thriller” — brings global climate change to a visceral level while “Someplace With a Mountain”, narrated by Chevy Chase, tells the tale of a small group of island atolls and their inhabitants as they struggle with their land being swallowed by the rising sea levels.
Tickets are $49 per person (Party members get 10% off)
Reservations are required, so please call 209-728-9817 ext 3.
