It’s HALLOWEEN WEEKEND in Murphys — yet another occasion to gather the townspeople and celebrate with gusto!

The local merchants, artists, shops and citizens are displaying their kookiest, ookiest sides with vim and vigor this weekend as the town celebrates the gleefully creeptastic holiday with a series of oh-so-fun events (for kids, for adults and for all ages).

Silent Movie Night at Ironstone Vineyards: Halloween Show!
Ironstone Vineyards is holding a special Silent Film Night with appropriately spooky titles to kick off the Murphys area Halloween festivities! The $20-per-person ticket includes dinner, the show, and popcorn during the show, making this a fun, festive and fantastically affordable evening to get you into the Halloween spirit!

Murphys Creek Theatre’s THE TURN OF THE SCREW
Just in time to usher in autumn in all its chilly glory, Murphys Creek Theatre Company is presenting a suitably chilling production to prepare us for autumn’s Halloween season with Jeffrey Hatcher’s unique stage adaptation of Henry James’ classic Gothic novel “The Turn of the Screw” beginning September 30th at Murphys Black Bart Theatre.

Live music, Halloween-inspired drinks and Murphys favorite landmark… Sounds like fun to us!

Pumpkin Carving at Zucca Tasting Room
Anyone here speak Italian? If so, you’d know that zucca means PUMPKIN in Italian! That said, it seems a pumpkin carving party at the Zucca tasting room is the perfect union! Halloween Costume Party at Cactus Jack’s
Halloween at the Dawghouse is going to be one heck of a party as folks turn out in their wildest costume creations and dance the night away to the live music of local favorites, PLAN B!

It’s not just Halloween in Murphys this weekend as the community pulls out all the stops for their Second Annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration.
