Brice Station Vintners

Brice Station Vintners

At 3,300 feet, the vineyards of Brice Station are the highest vineyards in the Sierra Nevada. Located on the family ranch of a fifth-generation California farmer, Brice Station — once a popular stage stop for folks traveling to witness the magnificent Calaveras Big Trees — is run using sustainable agricultural methods and amidst a climate similar to that of the Bordeuax region. They’re currently serving up ten wines, from Pinot Grigio to Merlot to Port, and also offer their Friends of Brice Station Wine Club.

Their tasting room is open Friday through Sunday, noon to 6:00 PM, and their location is actually just down Highway 4 from Red Apple Ranch — the closest winery to Red Apple! Also on the grounds is Quyle Kilns, open daily (with exception to Tuesday) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
